Heat knot series at one, could close out series with next three home games

For once in these NBA playoffs, Thursday night’s Game 2 of the NBA Finals was devoid of any controversy.

It was just a well-played, hard-fought game of basketball.

The Miami Heat took it 100-96 after Kevin Durant missed a game-tying shot with 9.9 seconds left in regulation.

LeBron James dominated, finishing with 32 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.

The series now shifts to Miami, where the Heat can theoretically close out the series with three consecutive wins.

(But we know, of course, that the NBA won’t let that happen.)

#Heat, #Thunder, LeBron, Durant. No matter who you're for, we can all agree that the lensless glasses movement needs to die a horrible death

Doris Burke asked LeBron what allowed the Heat to withstand the furious rally from the Thunder. LeBron laughed..and glanced at the refs.

I could see Thunder taking 2 out of the 3 games in Miami..they are better than the Heat and if they lose it will be because of themselves

Thunder: 1st home loss this postseason…Heat: 9-0 this postseason when scoring 100+ points..Heat: snaps 4-game losing streak in Finals

This Heat Thunder game isn't even close to being as good as the game we played in the warehouse #nbafinals #TheOffice

Man, what a 4th quarter going on between the Thunder & Heat right now. It's like NBA Jams with Westbrook & Durant out there #boomshakalaka

So the Thunder slept through 40 minutes of last night's game and only lost by 4? Yeah, the Heat can totally win this series. #SarcasticTweet
