Tired of waiting for the media to act like, you know, actual journalists instead of Obama cheerleading sycophants, Twitter users have decided to do the press’ job for it. Talk about creating or saving jobs; they have created or saved more than President Obama has.

And so the #lapdogmedia hashtag was born.

This is not a game. Real people have been hurting for 39 straight months while Obama spends like a drunken sailor on Solyndra. #LapDogMedia

The #LapDogMedia doesn't see it as their duty to report this President's failings. Fair enough. Oust Obama and put them back to work!

How long can @ABCWorldNews & @GStephanopoulos continue to ignore the HORRIBLE unemployment numbers. Shameful. #LapDogMedia

Hey @ABC, @NBCNews, @CBSNews: Where are the human suffering stories about ppl that have dropped out of the workforce? #Fail #LapDogMedia

— Ben Howe (@BenHowe) May 4, 2012

Under Obama, the #LapdogMedia calls unemployment "a newfound freedom" http://t.co/tjAKeoyE

If you hear that 300k people left the work force and you run with the headline "Employment situation improves" you might be a #LapDogMedia.

Dear #LapDogMedia, the unemployment rate is not 'good news' like Obama says it is. http://t.co/RPjcWkpg CALL HIM OUT ON IT!

— RB (@RBPundit) May 4, 2012

They should also call him out on insanely taking *credit* for the horrendous numbers.

RT @LachlanMarkay: Obama's strategy: pretend he hasn't been in office for 3 years http://t.co/oTCPlTHz Will #LapdogMedia oblige?

Tell @jaketapper to ask @davidaxelrod about the shrinking labor force on @ThisWeekABC #LapdogMedia

— Right Memes (@RightMemes) May 4, 2012

Send your own questions to media outlets using the hashtag and force them to do their jobs.

Your move, media.
