There was extra security at tonight’s Boston Bruins/Buffalo Sabres game, but that didn’t stop the people of Boston from turning out in force to support the home team. Despite the freshness of the bombings, Bostonians were ready to come together in a defiant rendition of the national anthem.

Thank you, Bruins. #bostonstrong…

The entire Bruins crowd singing the National Anthem in Boston before the game. Man, I love this game. #Heartwarming…

Rene Rancourt leads into the anthem, stops singing to conduct the crowd and let them sing… And I’m bawling. #Bruins

Excuse me why I get all misty eyes during the #Bruins opening. Anthem to follow I am assuming. Great tribute video right now.
