New tweet mysteriously appears on Andrew Breitbart’s account!/iowahawkblog/status/264357004292796417

Oh, wow.

Andrew Breitbart’s Twitter account has been a silent memorial to the late conservative icon since his death on March 1. But today the account retweeted blogger David Burge, also known as Iowahawk.

Now the tweet is deleted but here’s the image of the tweet from @andrewbreitbart‘s acct…

Moments later, the retweet disappeared from the account.

And now the @iowahawkblog RT is gone! 🙁 @andrewbreitbart

Twitchy has verified that the tweet did indeed appear on Breitbart’s Twitter account. The tweet is archived by Topsy, an automated Twitter aggregation site.

Although it was quickly deleted, the retweet did not go unnoticed.

So @andrewbreitbart is tweeting?

— jdonels (@jdonels) November 2, 2012

ummmm.. RT @andrewbreitbart: RT @iowahawkblog: In 2009 Obama forecast Oct 2012 unemployment of 5.2%. Missed it by 4.2 million jobs.

— Shaun McDonnell (@McShauno) November 2, 2012

@andrewbreitbart‘s twitter handle is active again. What??

— Amy Lutz (@amylutz4) November 2, 2012

Should we be concerned that a tweet just came from the @andrewbreitbart account?

— Ryan Sawtelle (@RyanSawtelle) November 2, 2012

A RT from @andrewbreitbart ???? Wow. Gave me chills. RIP.

— VanGeauxGeauxGirly (@VanGoGoGirly) November 2, 2012

@iowahawkblog I received @andrewbreitbart tweet in my text messages cause I always had that notification on. WoW! Speechless. #goosebumps

One possible explanation:

Im sure someone at Breitbart probably is in charge of @andrewbreitbart‘s acct & tweeted by accident. But still felt good to see Andrew again

— Matt Dawson (@SaintRPh) November 2, 2012

Twitchy will let you know if details about the mysterious retweet emerge. With or without an active Twitter account, there’s no doubt that Breitbart is here. #WAR
